Jacky writes for renowned business media; and some of his articles has also been translated into other languages such as Spanish, French and Mandarin. Jacky Tan was also named as one of the top 12 influential (under-40s) professionals in Singapore by Singapore Business Review.

In Jan 2015, the book by Jacky Tan, Social M, was translated into Chinese language, published and distributed in major bookstores in Taiwan. Thus, helping more businesses worldwide with his marketing and branding wisdom. In Feb, Jacky trained business students at a local university on the aspect of content marketing in Asia. Also in 2015, Jacky was invited twice for a keynote presentation on Marketing for Entrepreneurs at Volvo Singapore Center.
With the ability to transform small businesses into brands in less than 3 years time, Jacky is often been seen as a “nemesis” to large multinational companies for creating stronger competing brands from scratch. He was also guest lecturer on the topic of social media branding for marketing diploma students in a local polytechnic. In May 2014, Jacky was the co-chairperson and the closing keynote speaker for CMO Asia Summit 2014 that was held in Hilton KL. Jacky also trains marketing leaders and directors from renowned brands which includes some Fortune 500 companies on the aspect of marketing. In March 2016, Jacky was the chairperson of the inaugural Marketing Asia Conference. In the same year, he was one of the expert panelists for Asia Pacific Communications Summit. In early 2017, Jacky Tan was again invited as the guest lecturer to share about content marketing to graduating students at Lee Kong Chian School of Business in Singapore Management University (SMU).
